Kaulig Racing is a full-time American stock car racing team, owned by CEO and Owner of LeafFilter Gutter Protection, Matt Kaulig.
Matt Kaulig founded Kaulig Racing in 2016 and chose to set up the headquarters in Welcome, North Carolina near the Richard Childress Racing campus. The Kaulig Racing team is focused on building race cars from the ground up and continues to find new and revolutionary technologies to improve the performance of their race cars.
Led by General Manager and Crew Chief Chris Rice, Kaulig Racing garnered five top 10 finishes and a seventh-place finish in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
For 2018, Ryan Truex, an up-and-coming driver in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, joins Kaulig Racing. With 8 top-5 finishes, 19 top-10 finishes, and an impressive 9th place standing, we are incredibly excited to have Truex on our team and cannot wait to see what the 2018 season holds.
PARTNERING FOR SUCCESS
Setting the team up for success early on, Kaulig Racing has joined forces with Richard Childress Racing to create a technical alliance, including the use of ECR engines. Over its 46 year history, Richard Childress Racing has become synonymous with success and championships and has made a huge impact on the NASCAR industry. In fact, RCR was the first team to win championships in all three major NASCAR series. By partnering with Richard Childress Racing, our technical alliance allows us to access powerful insights and support.
