Driver Bio

Growing up in the Midwest, Justin Haley currently competes full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 11 Chevrolet Camaro for Kaulig Racing. The Winamac, Indiana native started his racing career at the age of nine when he competed in the Kokomo Quarter Midget Club. Since then Haley has been on the fast-track, for a lack of better words, to NASCAR stardom.

With a couple of Quarter Midget Championships under his belt, Haley burst on to the NASCAR scene in 2014, when he entered his first NASCAR K&N East Series races. 2015 brought another first for the young driver, as he entered his first NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series (NGOTS) events for Braun Racing, a team then owned by his uncle, Todd Braun.

In 2016, Haley recorded his first-ever NASCAR Championship, at the age of 17, by securing the NASCAR K&N East Series title. He then went on to announce that he would compete full-time in the NGOTS in 2017. During his rookie season in the truck series, Haley recorded one pole award, three top-five and 12 top-10 finishes.

2018 was coined a record year for the sophomore driver in the NGOTS. He established his first-ever playoff berth and recorded three wins, nine top five and 18 top-10 finishes; the next level was on the horizon.

Additionally, during the 2018 NASCAR season, Haley made three starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS). During those three events, he brought home a 12th place finish and he even challenged for the win in his second NXS start, during the July event at Daytona International Speedway.

In his rookie NXS season Haley broke records for Kaulig Racing, by earning four top-five and 20 top-10 finishes. He also secured himself a spot in the 2019 NXS Playoffs.

Continuing with his stellar 2019 rookie season, Haley found himself in Victory Lane in the NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) race at Daytona International Speedway in July. The rain shortened race gave Haley a place in the NASCAR history books.

Haley meant business in 2020, as he earned his first NXS win at Talladega Superspeedway, making him one of 33 drivers to win in all three of NASCAR’s national series. He went on to win two more races, another at Talladega and one at Daytona International Speedway, allowing him to join the likes of Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt Jr. as a driver to win three superspeedway races in a row.

Haley continued an historic season for both himself and Kaulig Racing, as he earned a spot in the Championship 4 race at Phoenix Raceway, ultimately finishing third in points in the 2020 NXS season.

It is no surprise that Kaulig Racing offered a contract extension to the 21-year-old driver, making him the first driver for the team to return for a third, full season in the NXS for the 2021 season. Haley went on to earn one win and his third playoff berth in-a-row.

Amidst a stellar 2021 season for Haley, Kaulig Racing announced it would be competing full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2022 with two charters — one of which would be fielded by Haley. He will pilot the No. 31 LeafFilter Gutter Protection Camaro ZL1 during the 2022 NCS season, alongside part-time teammates AJ Allmendinger, Daniel Hemric and Noah Gragson, who will share the No. 16 Camaro ZL1.
