About

Bob Kaulig

CFO

Bob Kaulig grew up in a small town named Sayler Park on the west side of Cincinnati. Kaulig’s father owned a service station and sponsored a race car. That’s when Kaulig’s passion for motorsports and NASCAR began.

Sayler Park was a town filled with racing enthusiasts and owners of a local race track. On Friday and Saturday evenings, you could often find Bob at one of the local dirt or paved tracks. As Bob grew older, many of his friends became racecar drivers, and Bob helped build their cars.

Years later, Kaulig became Vice President of Marketing for Raybestos Brakes, a supporter and supplier of IndyCar and NASCAR for many years. During his time at Raybestos, Kaulig managed the racing program, with big name drivers such as Bobby Allisons’ #12, Stavola Brothers’ #8 Cars, and Libert Racings’ #98 truck for six years. For the years following, Raybestos became an associate sponsor for Robert Yates’ and Joe Gibbs’ cars. In addition, Raybestos participated in the contingency decal program, sponsoring NASCAR’s “Raybestos Rookie of the Year” program for 10 years.

Jeff Burton, the NBC Race announcer, was the driver of the No. 8 car at Stavola Brothers for two seasons. During his time at Raybestos, Kaulig had the privilege of awarding the Rookie of the Year to NASCAR drivers Kyle Busch and Denny Hamlin.

In 2009, Kaulig came to LeafFilter Gutter Protection in Hudson, Ohio, and as a result has been instrumental to the improvement and dramatic growth of sales of the company. Kaulig brings over 20 years of experience, including 15 years as a VP of Sales and Marketing for a Fortune 500 Company with an excess of $2B in sales.

In 2018, Kaulig retired from LeafFilter Gutter Protection and spends his time between Ohio and his home in Florida, playing golf with his wife Anna.
