“I feel like we maximized the day for sure. We definitely didn’t have the outright speed we needed to go contend. I didn’t do a great job picking lanes on the restarts – I struggled there. I need to be better for us in all facets, but I feel like we keep making the most out of our days as a team by getting the best possible finish we can get for that day, even when we might not necessarily have the speed. I’m happy with the ‘don’t-give-up-attitude’, and I know we will keep working on it and getting better. It was a little frustrating knowing we didn’t really have the speed to go contend, but I’m happy with our top-five finish as a team.”

Stage 2 Finish: 7th
Finish: 8th
“We struggled a little bit with similar issues as the past couple of weeks. We started out loose, over-adjusted, and then just couldn’t quite find the right balance. I think we made the most out of it and were able to come out with a top-10 finish. I’m proud of all the hard work everyone at Kaulig Racing continues to do and the effort we have been making week in and week out. I’m excited about going to Road America. We have really good road course cars at Kaulig Racing so we will go there and hopefully have a good day.”

Justin Haley, No. 11 LeafFilter Gutter Protection Chevrolet
Start: 11th
Stage 1 Finish: 9th
Stage 2 Finish: 38th
Finish: 38th
“We had a pretty good No. 11 LeafFilter Gutter Protection Chevy. It’s kind of a shame to be taken out. We got some track position, and I thought we were going to be in pretty good shape, but it happens. It was a hard hit, and I’m thankful to be okay after that. The good news is that next week we will be able to qualify at Road America and get back into the groove and reset.”
