LEXINGTON, N.C. (April 15, 2019) – Yet to miss one of NASCAR’s top-tier series events this season, NASCAR’s busiest driver Ross Chastain, along with team Kaulig Racing announced today on social media that Chastain will take the wheel of the team’s No. 10 Nutrien Ag Solutions Chevrolet Camaro at Talladega Superspeedway on Saturday, April 27.
Nutrien Ag Solutions, added the race to Chastain’s initial three-race schedule following an impressive run in the season opener at Daytona International Speedway. Together, Chastain drove the Nutrien Ag Solutions Camaro to a runner-up finish in Stage One, took the Stage Two win and lead 23 laps before he ultimately finished 13th after leaving the draft in order to go for the win.
“Adding Talladega and being able to build off of what we did in Daytona is awesome,” Chastain said. “Nutrien Ag Solutions aims to ‘Lead the Field,’ and that’s literally what we hope to do once again in Talladega. Racing and agriculture are my two biggest passions and I’m looking forward to working with the No. 10 Kaulig Racing team again. I’m very blessed to be in this position with a team partner that’s already expanding their program. We’re going to do everything we can to win this race.”
Chastain is also scheduled to pilot the No. 10 Nutrien Ag Solutions Chevrolet for Kaulig Racing at Chicagoland Speedway (June 29) and Texas Motor Speedway (Nov. 2).
