Brenden Queen qualified 20th for the NASCAR Xfinity Series finale race. Queen lacked grip during the opening stage, falling one lap down to the leaders in the incident-free first segment. At the stage break, Queen was in the free-pass position, putting him back on the lead lap for the start of the second stage. When the first caution of the night came out with 82 laps remaining, Queen pitted for tires and fuel, but a pit road mishap cost him multiple spots. He went on to finish 19th.
Daniel Dye struggled with a free-handling No. 10 Champion Container Chevy in the first stage, finishing 28th and one lap down to the leaders. Stuck one lap down, Dye finished the second stage in the same position, radioing that he lacked drive in the No. 10 Chevy. Dye remained one lap down to the leaders and went on to finish 28th.
