Daniel Dye, a 20-year-old racer from Daytona Beach, Florida, currently competes part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 10 Chevrolet Camaro for Kaulig Racing.
Dye's journey into racing began at New Smyrna Speedway with quarter midgets, not far from his hometown. He quickly progressed from pro late to super late model racing in his early teens, initially driving for Ben Kennedy Racing. After achieving success in late model events, Dye moved up to the ARCA Menards Series, competing for Ben Kennedy Racing and later part-time for GMS Racing in 2021. His breakthrough came with a victory at Berlin Raceway in Marne, Michigan, piloting the No. 21 car with Chad Bryant as his crew chief.
In 2022, Dye competed full-time in the ARCA Menards Series, securing the runner-up position in the season's point standings and earning the Bounty Rookie of the Year award. This promising performance in the ARCA season led to his full-time position in the Truck Series with GMS Racing in 2023, where he achieved a top-ten finish and gained valuable experience on tracks new to him.
In 2024, Dye is set to compete in select races across various tracks, including Daytona, Texas, Dover, Iowa, Pocono, Indianapolis, Michigan, Kansas, Las Vegas, and Phoenix, driving the No. 10 entry for Kaulig Racing.
