Josh Williams, born Aug. 3, 1993, enters the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) season driving the No. 11 Alloy Employer Services Chevrolet Camaro for Kaulig Racing.
Williams began his racing career running go-karts at tracks near his hometown of Port Charlotte, Fla., starting at four years old. After running through the local short track ranks, Williams made his national series debut in the ARCA Menards Series (AMS) in 2009. He ran for his own team, Josh Williams Motorsports, which still exists today to help develop young drivers across numerous racing disciplines.
After Williams won his first AMS race in 2016, NASCAR veteran and longtime friend Mario Gosselin partnered with and hired Williams to run select races in the NXS for DGM Racing, going full-time starting in 2019. In 2020, Williams had a career year, earning six top-10 finishes and finishing 15th in the standings.
While competing full-time in the NXS, Williams made his NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) debut in 2022, finishing on the lead lap twice in three starts.
He earned media stardom in 2023 following a moment at Atlanta Motor Speedway where he parked his car on the frontstretch. He used his newfound attention to draw more eyes to the Josh Williams Hospital Tour (JWHT), which, formed by Williams in 2015, he uses to provide hope to sick children and their families. His efforts earned him a nomination for the 2022 Comcast Community Champion of the Year award.
In addition to competing full-time in the No. 11 Chevy Camaro, Williams will run part-time in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2024 for Kaulig Racing.
