AJ Allmendinger Quote

“Well here we are again. Another race, getting ready for Homestead. We’ve got the Ellsworth Advisors Chevy. More importantly, the reason that we are going to Homestead is because we won Atlanta, and now we are eligible for the Xfinity Dash 4 Cash $100,000. What a day. It was a dream come true for me to finally win on an oval. I can’t thank Matt Kaulig, Kaulig Racing, and all the men and women here at Kaulig Racing for giving me the opportunity and building these fast Chevrolets.

Now we get to go to Homestead, a place that I enjoy. It’s similar to Atlanta in the sense that it’s hot, it’s slick and we’re going to be sliding around. We are probably going to have to run the top there, so I’ll have to get my groove back a little bit trying to run the fence. I tried to do that a little bit at Atlanta, but it didn’t work and I had to stick to the bottom. I get to watch my teammates, Justin Haley and ross Chastain, on Saturday. Hopefully it’s $100,000 on Sunday between me or Justin and two victories for Kaulig Racing at Homestead – Ross or Justin, I won’t choose on Saturday, and one of us on Sunday.”
