“It’s tough to come up short like that. We were fighting for everything tonight, and I wanted it so bad. It’s hard to be disappointed with second. We had Dyna-Gro Seed and Nutrien Ag Solutions on the car, and I’m thankful for all of their support. Everything that Matt Kaulig and Chris Rice are doing here is amazing. There’s a lot of things I could have done differently tonight, but I just couldn’t get it done. We will move on to Las Vegas for the first round of the playoffs next week!”

“Bristol has been a tough one for us. I had such a fast No. 11 LeafFilter Gutter Protection Chevrolet and was running second for a while. Unfortunately, we had two right front tires go down and had to pit to fix that. We lost a few laps, but we were able to drive back to 16th. That finish definitely did not represent how fast our car was. I’m proud of how hard my guys fought.”
