Kaulig Racing Post-Race Report | Phoenix Raceway

Justin Haley, No. 11 LeafFilter Gutter Protection Chevrolet

Start: 8th

Stage One Finish: 10th

Stage Two Finish: 7th

Finish: 5th

“It was a good finish to my Xfinity Series career in the No. 11 car. I’m thankful for everyone at Kaulig racing for giving me the opportunity these last three years. We came home with a top five, which I’m extremely happy about. It was a great way to end out the season with everyone on the No. 11 team. It makes me really excited for my future with this team in the cup series.”

AJ Allmendinger, No. 16 Hyperice Chevrolet

Start: 12th

Stage One Finish: 7th

Stage Two Finish: 6th

Finish: 14th

“I’m disappointed we weren’t there at the end to contend, but I feel like we  got everything we could out of it. I was trying to be aggressive on the restarts, but we didn’t have enough speed to keep up with Austin (Cindric) and Daniel (Hemric). I thought we could at least end up with a fifth or sixth-place day. Unfortunately, we had a loose wheel that felt like it was going to fall off. That wasn’t the storyline I wanted to be a part of, but that doesn’t take away from the year we have had together at Kaulig Racing. We knew it was going to be a challenge – it’s not mine or Kaulig Racing’s best racetrack, but I think we learned a lot tonight. We will keep learning next year and do it again.”

Jeb Burton, No. 10 Nutrien Ag Solutions Chevrolet

Start: 9th

Stage One Finish: 12th

Stage Two Finish: 15th

Finish: 23rd

“That wasn’t how I wanted to end my first, full season in the Xfinity Series. We had a pretty good run going for us until I was run into. We just weren’t quite able to get back where we were. Overall, I learned a lot this season, and I’m thankful for all that Kaulig Racing has done for me in my career.”

About Kaulig Racing
Kaulig Racing™ is a full-time multi-car NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) and NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) team, owned by award winning entrepreneur, Matt Kaulig. Established in 2016, Kaulig Racing™ has made the NXS Playoffs consecutively each season since the playoff system started and has won back-to-back regular-season championships. Before becoming a full-time NCS team, Kaulig Racing made multiple starts in the 2021 NCS season and won in its seventh-ever start with AJ Allmendinger’s victory at “The Brickyard” for the Verizon 200 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The team expanded to a two-car, full-time NCS team in 2022 with Justin Haley piloting the No. 31 Camaro ZL1, and an all-star lineup featured in the No. 16 Camaro ZL1. Haley will continue to drive the No. 31 full-time in 2023, alongside AJ Allmendinger, who will drive the No. 16 Camaro ZL1. The team will continue to field three, full-time NXS entries; the No. 10 Chevrolet driven by an all-star lineup that will be announced at a later date, the No. 11 Chevrolet driven by Daniel Hemric, and the No. 16 Chevrolet driven by Chandler Smith.
