Jeb Burton Quote: I’ve always run well at Daytona. I’ve gotten two top sevens in the truck series, and I’ve only been to Daytona three times in the Xfinity series. The last two times I’ve had great runs. I finished fourth once, and then was running second, but got wrecked with five laps to go the last time. I feel like I have always been good there, but have just been a couple spots away from closing the deal, so I am really excited about getting back. It’s been a good track for my family, so hopefully we can finish a couple spots better this time.
Justin Haley Quote: I’m super fortunate to be starting the year with positive momentum in Daytona after an amazing season last year. Returning to the track with familiar faces on the No. 11 team with Alex Yontz and crew, as well as our loyal partner LeafFilter Gutter Protection. This weekend will be a great way to kick off another season in the Xfinity Series.
AJ Allmendinger Quote: I’m pumped to start my first full season in three years. I have a little bit of a different outlook than the last couple years knowing I would have a break after this race, so I’m just really pumped to be back full-time and go for a championship. I’d love to get to Daytona and have a great run to start the season, but with the superspeedway racing, anything can happen. I know we are going to have three fast Kaulig racing Chevys. With the addition of Jeb, and my relationship with Justin, I think we will all work really well together. Hopefully we can do what we have been doing at the superspeedway races and dictate the pace, get all three cars up front, and then battle at the end for the win. It’s going to be a fantastic year, and I can’t wait to get it started.
Kaz Grala Quote: I couldn’t be more ready to get on track with Kaulig Racing and Hyperice this week to kick off the 2021 season. Everyone has been working tirelessly on our Daytona car, and I know we’re all anxious to finally see where we stack up. It certainly is a tall order to race our way into this year’s Daytona 500, but I feel really good about our chances. This track has been very good to me in the past across all three series, so I’m hoping for more of that this week. The Cup Series is definitely a big step, but I feel like the team and I are prepared to step up together and see what we can do. I’m extremely optimistic for the weekend and thankful to everyone at Kaulig racing for welcoming me to the team.
