“We started off the day strong on the pole, but didn’t end it quite like we wanted. We came from the back a few times after we made contact with the No. 7 car, but we could never really get the balance right in the No. 11 LeafFilter Gutter Protection Chevy. Then, ultimately, we had to pit again after our last stop for a loose wheel. We will look ahead to a doubleheader at Richmond next week.”
