“How about that race boys and girls! I’m proud of my Kaulig Racing group to come back after the first race at Darlington and finish second and contend for the win. It was night and day difference. To go up against Denny Hamlin, a future NASCAR Cup Series Champion, and contend for the win is great. I got out of my No. 10 Nutrien Ag Solutions car smiling. I am proud of the effort of my team, and how fast my car was today.”

Stage 2 Finish: 17th

“We started off the day strong on the pole, but didn’t end it quite like we wanted. We came from the back a few times after we made contact with the No. 7 car, but we could never really get the balance right in the No. 11 LeafFilter Gutter Protection Chevy. Then, ultimately, we had to pit again after our last stop for a loose wheel. We will look ahead to a doubleheader at Richmond next week.”
