“We won at Matt Kaulig’s home race, we had three Ohio-based sponsors on the cars, and I had Indy 500 winning team owner, Mike Shank with me. How lucky am I?! This was Matt Kaulig’s superbowl. This was such a big deal. I always want to win for him, but at Mid-Ohio, I put a lot more pressure on myself to try and win. I can’t thank all the men and women at Kaulig Racing enough for the hard work they put in to get us here.”

Justin Haley, No. 11 LeafFilter Gutter Protection Chevrolet
Start: 10th
Stage 1 Finish: 3rd
Stage 2 Finish: 1st
Finish: 2nd
“I’m super proud of this Kaulig Racing team! We had a really great points day, and we won the second stage. I feel like we were finally able to get the monkey off our back and get a really good finish. I wish we could have gotten the win, but if I have to finish second, I’m glad it was to my teammate, AJ Allmendinger. He has done a lot for me professionally and personally. I’m glad we were able to put on a good show for Matt Kaulig and everyone at LeafFilter Gutter Protection at their home track.”

Jeb Burton, No. 10 Rocky Boots Chevrolet
Start: 4th
Stage 1 Finish: 4th
Stage 2 Finish: 19th
Finish: 16th
“It was a crazy day at Mid-Ohio. We had a ton of speed in our No. 10 Rocky Boots Chevy. Kaulig Racing did a great job with all three of our cars. I’m pumped for my teammate, AJ Allmendinger. I’m proud of both him and Justin Haley for finishing one-two. We had a top-five car and would have been right there with them, but I went off track and spun out. I’m so proud of my team for the hard work.”
